You will have ample opportunity to visit the inhabitants of these areas, who live in flat-roofed, fortress-like villages. The journey around these legendary mountains, rugged culture and villages is a journey of discovery and adventure. Langtang is one of the legendary Hidden Valleys of the Himalayas, guarded by a three-tiered pagoda set on a rocky spur, high in the mountains. The walking is varied and adventurous, from tropical steep-sided gorges to pine forest and alpine meadows leading to a huge glacier below the snow-capped peaks.
